GALLERY - VIDEOS AND PHOTOGRAPHS

I've split the photos and videos into several different pages so that you don't have to scroll too far down a page to view everything. Simply select a link below. I've given a brief description for each page.

PHOTOGRAPHS         NB! There are several photos on each page.

Page 1

Photographs of the Eurasian Badger (meles meles) at work, rest and play.

Page 2

Photos of the Badgers habitat, and other wild animals/birds living in close proximity to Brock.

Page 3

Photographs taken with the Gamespy (Trail) cameras. See photographs of badgers, deer, foxes and birds caught on camera.

VIDEO CLIPS       Quality videos of badgers, check out page 13
Page 1

A young badger cub leaving the sett in daylight conditions.

Page 2

A video of an adult badger at the sett when two flash photographs are taken in quick succession. Very dark but an interesting test. Does flash affect the badgers - you decide?

Page 3

An adult badger (meles meles) slowly emerges from deep underground cautiously sniffing the air for signs of danger. Filmed from above.

Page 4

A close up video of a badger as it returns to the sett then dives for cover.

Page 5

An adult badger (meles meles) pops its head up from a sett and has a good look around. Filmed in almost daylight conditions from ground level.

Page 6    Watch this badger gather in bedding material for its sett. Front legs tear the grass from the hillside and watch for it tearing at the grass with its teeth too!
Page 7  A family of badgers at play on the hillside on a bright summers evening. The young cubs are having a ball as they spring, jump and bump each other blissfully unaware they are being filmed. See wild badgers in their natural environment.
Page 8    An adult badger heads off to forage, junior quickly follows but has a tough time trundling through the deep undergrowth. This is a sequel to Video number 7 and I was able to along breaks within the bracken to follow these badgers.
Page 9         An adult badger surveys the land, sniffing for danger. Brock checks above ground before allowing his cubs to surface. On hearing them exit he immediately dashes back to the sett, and scent marks one of the cubs.
Page 10     Doooh Badgers in THE SIMPSONS (cartoon), I don't believe it!
Page 11    A typical badgers cleaning routine having just surfaced above ground.
Page 12   Young cubs at play fighting and frolicking with typical badger noises.
Page 13  A 1 minute 38 secs video taken with two video cameras from different angles/viewpoints. With music and sounds. Please give this time to load as it's worth seeing. The BEST video on this site to date.
