A set of colour proofs will be submitted to J.G.S and available to view on your return to school in January. Order details and order forms will be provided with the proofs.

All orders must be placed through the school quoting your name, year, photo number (below each image), quantity, size and payment due. Payment must be made when ordering. Please contact the senior dance committee if you have any further questions.

BORDER SCHOOLS - SENIOR DANCE EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY

Does your photographer provide printed colour proofs and web galleries to aid selection? Does your photographer provide a suitable backdrop for photographs as well as a portable wireless twin flash studio setup? Does your photographer use professional level (L Series) lenses and a top of the range 13MPixel digital camera to ensure quality? Does your photographer have the skills to manage large groups and digitally combine a studio backdrop if the surroundings are unsuitable? Does your photographer take several images of each portrait to ensure a perfect photograph? Does your photographer individually process each image to ensure maximum quality? Does your photographer take candid photographs on the dance floor after the official photography and can your photographer provide you with a framed montage or year book photograph at no extra charge? (conditions apply)

Prints can be produced on site but there are disadvantages associated with this service. Photographs are virtually camera ready (as is) and will not be enhanced to similar quality standards. Payment is required up front with this service and do you really want to be lumbered with photographs for the rest of the evening increasing the risk of loss or damage to your prints?

Large groups can pose problems, even with a 12ft wide backdrop. A photograph is taken of the background area at the start of the evening and large group photographs can then be digitally (and seamlessly) added to this background. Before and after photographs are illustrated above and below.

A3 sized colour proofs are provided to aid selection of your school photographs.	A montage or other suitable photographs can be provided for a year book, projects, etc. The montage depicted below was also used as the cover photograph for the J.G.S. year book.

A framed montage was presented to Jedburgh Grammar School following their Senior dance in December 2005. A combination of formal and candid (dance floor) photographs were skilfully blended to produce an A3 size colour photograph. This was then framed with a two inch double mount and modern blue moulding as shown above. This image also served as the cover photograph for the school year book.
